An
expectant mother is accepted as being 'radiant', but inwardly will
often feel very tired, worn out by coping with the day to day chores
whilst suffering back-ache, made worse by a night of incessant
kicking. We can provide a record of mum looking as she
should, either alone, perhaps quietly contemplating her bump, or
complete with partner (even if he was kicking all night). We
can provide images showing the proud parents, sharing an intimate bond
with their unborn child.
BABIES
Babies
grow at an alarming pace, and before we realise the change, we need to
lock cupboards, block off staircases, and move valuables aloft by
somewhere in the region of a metre. This time is all too
short, and often quite fraught, particularly if this is a first child
as we step through a learning process of how to be a parent.
Taking the time to maintain a regular record of their growth can be
difficult, and is often overlooked.
TODDLERS
How
many parents have expressed a wish that their children could stay at
the ages of two, three or four when they are at their most
endearing? At this age they melt our hearts on a regular
basis. The innate charm of their innocence brings a
delight while we watch unobserved as 'best pals' play in the
sunshine. Their incredible imagination turning sticks into
horses and themselves into dashing heroes in shining armour, or
beautiful princesses. These special moments in our children's
lives stand out vividly in our memories. Such memories are
often evoked by a similar event, a smell, or an image which can send
our memories flooding back to some special incident. The most
common time when these memories are induced is when the children have
grown up, and we're flicking through the photograph album.
It's now that we can embarrass our offspring by disclosing errant and
embarrassing behaviour in front of their future husband or
wife. And we do.
