ACTIVE MODELS

Your portfolio is your Curriculum Vitae, and as with any CV, should be kept fresh, and up-to-date.  It needs to promote both professionalism and versatility, and should target the market and in some instances the specific task for which you are applying.  There's not a lot of point in presenting artistic nude images to a wedding dress designer for instance.

Actively promoting your portfolio will often mean chopping and changing to suit the potential client's business.  By having a library of images, and careful selection of which amongst these are included in your Portfolio, you will increase your chances of gaining the jobs you want.

Whether your need is to supplement and refresh your portfolio, create specific and/or unique images, or to replicate something you've seen elsewhere, we will take the time and effort to get it right and provide your needs.

ASPIRING MODELS

Do you want to be a model?

When people think of a model, for most there is an instant image conjured up of a tall 18 year old waif strutting her stuff on the catwalk.  Names like Jasper Conran, Vivian Westwood and the like are hovering on the peripheries of such images.

The promotion of the fashion industry has manufactured a wonderful world of glamour, where the rich and famous are to be found, and everything is fabulous and wonderful.  This image tends to overshadow all else, however 'haute couture' is only a tiny part of a massive and multifaceted industry in modelling.  Rather like football, there are many many thousands more people who actively participate than make it to the international arena.

Men, women and children of all ages can become models, and they do not have to be slim and/or glamorous.  Some advertising only requires an image of a single part of the body, such as a foot or a hand.  A slim long fingered hand would be used to sell jewellery, whilst a small adult hand used to make an ice cream cone appear bigger than it is.  Possibly a strong masculine hand to hold a razor...  Images of people are used to sell anything and everything, including prosthetic limbs so you don't even need to have a full set of everything.
